Damn fine karaage chicken sandwich. Crunchy breading, lil spicy, a little cabbage slaw, and a soft bun to soak it all up. And that cucumber salad is no slouch either, nice vinegar forward flavor and good umami. Can’t wait to go back and try everything!

Wishbone restaurant is an extremely good/popular chicken sandwich place in Lisbon. In our first day in Lisbon we chose wishbone to start our trip and at the last day we also chose to come as our last hurray before leaving Lisbon. Last but not least, Paula was amazing on explaining the whole production of the sandwiches and always being so kind and nice! Highly recommended and will come back again time.

Hit the spot! Came in starving, left fulfilled!Nothing in Lisbon like it! So good it calls for 2. Chicken was perfect and juicy, the batter exactly how Karaage Fried chicken should taste. Wish I had it sooner, definitely coming back. Well done you guys!

Wishbone was absolutely fantastic. The karaage burger and the chicken pieces tasted just like something you’d eat in Japan — so, so good. And Rafa was truly lovely. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I had the combo 1, the sandwich was really juicy and loaded with chicken, the coleslaw salad on top added a really refreshing lemony touch to it! Seasoning and cook on the chicken was perfect! Flavourful and juicy!

The store is small so it you plan to eat there, dont expect to fit 10 people!

10/10 would come again

Yes! Our vegan karaage uses plant-based chicken with the same crispy double-fried technique. Same crunch, same seasoning, same Kewpie mayo (vegan version). Available in sandwiches, boxes, or by the piece. Vegan doesn’t mean boring here.
